****Standard layout for the 53 Classic with twin berths in the master. ****The Forward Stateroom hasstacked berths to starboard and a chest of drawers to port. Aft of the berths is the hanging locker and stacked washer/dryer. Across to port is the crew head with stall shower vanity and Galley Maid head. A privacy door separates this stateroom from the galley.Up two steps to the galley are Corian counters (refurbished in 2003) new appliances new flooring and headliners. The dinette is to starboard with great storage below.Engine rooms are accessed from the companionway aft of the galley and aft to port is the guest stateroom with twin berths drawer storage and hanging locker. The guest head is across to starboard with separate stall shower Galley Maid head vanity and medicine cabinet. Aft is the master stateroom with oversized twin berths providing a spacious feel and great floor space. The chest of drawers is aft on center and the double door hanging locker is forward.All of the woodwork is in excellent condition having been well maintained over the years. The galley updates and new air-conditioning systems give a late model feel to a traditional classic.

This 53 Classic has only had 3 owners and each has lavished her with excellent care. She is constantly updated and refreshed and will certainly offer her next owners many years of comfortable economical cruising. This boat is the reason Hatteras 53 Motor Yachts are called "Classics".
